Recruitment Process
Recruiting for Auto Society is an involved process which takes place over the first seven weeks of each semester at LETU. The system is designed to allow current members to get to know prospective members and vice versa. Recruits also have the opportunity to understand the community which the Society desires to maintain as an organization centered on Christ.
Throughout the process, members determine whether recruits are a good fit for the society. This demands recruits take the initiative to work with members on their vehicles to show their dedication, personality, and skills. Recruits are also expected to attend weekly meetings on Wednesdays evenings. At the conclusion of the recruitment process, prospective members are voted on by the current members. If they are accepted, they enter the Junior Membership phase.
During the Junior membership phase, the Junior member must complete a 25 hour service project which benefits the Society shop. Once complete, they are inducted as a full member at the end of the semester.
